SecOps Engineer II

Job Overview

Artera is seeking a mid-level SecOps Engineer II to join its impactful DevOps organization. This role is critical for embedding security within the infrastructure, tools, and processes of the company. The engineer will work on standardizing security practices, improving vulnerability management, and ensuring compliance with federal and commercial standards, while collaborating closely with various internal teams.

Technical Requirements

Responsibilities

• • Monitor and triage alerts from security tools
• • Help build and standardize repeatable processes for handling vulnerabilities
• • Collaborate cross-functionally with DevOps and InfoSec teams
• • Maintain and update cloud infrastructure security controls
• • Contribute to infrastructure automation and scripting
• • Create and maintain documentation for audits and security reviews
• • Support infrastructure patching and change control
• • Participate in regular SecOps and InfoSec meetings
• • Track security-related tickets and monitor resolution timelines
• • Stay current on threat trends and cloud security best practices
