Technical Requirements

Responsibilities

• • Design, develop, test, deploy, and integrate scalable backend services and features
• • Drive technical designs aligned with team architecture, refactor code, and build shared libraries
• • Use feature flags and experimentation frameworks to test and safely roll out new features
• • Investigate and resolve database and data pipeline issues by querying sources and collaborating cross-functionally
• • Participate actively in code reviews, backlog estimation, and story breakdown to uphold high coding standards
• • Document system designs, feature decisions, onboarding guides, and other critical technical knowledge
• • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvement and team-wide software quality
• • Tackle ambiguous projects and resolve architectural gaps in advance of development
• • Partner with Staff/Principal engineers to integrate improvements and maintain operational excellence
• • Participate quarterly in hiring or recruiting activities at or below your level
