Job Overview
Cloudflare is seeking a Systems Test Engineer for their Zero Trust team to ensure the quality of security products by testing and validating features from a customer perspective. This role involves collaborating with development teams, creating and executing tests, and debugging issues to enhance product coverage and performance.
Technical Requirements
Required Skills
- • Experience with manual E2E testing of network-based applications
- • Strong knowledge of networking technologies (IP, TCP, UDP, DNS, etc.)
- • Experience with mobile and desktop device networking configurations
- • Experience with Python for automated tests and script development
Preferred Skills
- • Experience setting up and maintaining physical and virtual device labs
- • Experience using Mobile Device Management platforms
Experience Level
Hands-on experience with networking configurations and debugging
Responsibilities
- • Collaborate with fellow Test Engineers to define and execute product test strategies
- • Assist development teams in reproducing customer issues and testing fixes
- • Discover edge cases across Zero Trust products and validate solutions
- • Set up, configure, test, debug, and troubleshoot network-related features
- • Create, maintain, and execute a suite of manual tests
- • Author scripts and leverage automation frameworks for testing
- • Maintain physical test devices and virtual test environments
