Job Overview
Alloy is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a dynamic team of Backend and Fullstack engineers focused on enhancing the Alloy platform. In this role, you will be responsible for recruiting, mentoring, and driving the team's success while ensuring the delivery of high-quality product demos. The position emphasizes collaboration and continuous improvement within a hybrid work environment, where local employees work onsite twice a week.
Technical Requirements
- • 6+ years of engineering experience
- • 2+ years in an engineering leadership position
- • Intermediate-to-expert capability in Python
- • Agile project management skills
- • Experience with AWS infrastructure
- • Experience in high-growth product companies
- • Experience developing product features leveraging ML/AI
Senior level with significant leadership experience
Responsibilities
- • Create, track, and manage engineering team's metrics and KPIs
- • Hold weekly 1:1's and support team members' professional development
- • Drive code review, QA, release, and continuous deployment processes
- • Manage agile projects to improve the platform
- • Communicate technical and product decisions effectively
- • Embody technical ownership and ensure high-quality product delivery
