Job Overview
Egnyte is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer who will play a vital role in protecting valuable data for over 22,000 customers worldwide. This position involves working closely with Production Engineering and SRE Teams to ensure the security and reliability of cloud environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for security assessments, architecture design reviews, and implementing scalable security measures.
Technical Requirements
Required Skills
- • 3+ years of experience in a cloud environment (GCP and/or Azure)
- • Experience with containerized workloads (Kubernetes)
- • Ability to develop and deploy tools and automation (preferably in Python or Go)
- • Strong background with CI/CD pipelines and security-related tooling
Preferred Skills
- • Ability to digest security advisories and provide actionable remediation steps
- • Good command of English (B2/C1+)
Experience Level
Senior level with at least 3 years of relevant experience
Responsibilities
- • Perform security assessments and participate in architecture design reviews
- • Coordinate cross-team initiatives to improve security posture of infrastructure
- • Design and implement scalable guardrails using a Policy-as-Code approach
- • Manage security tools for Egnyte’s multi-cloud environments
- • Aid in incident response activities with domain-specific knowledge
