Job Overview
Alloy is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join the Client Insights team in New York City. The role focuses on applying statistical and machine learning methods to build customer-facing models that help financial institutions reduce fraud and improve compliance. The engineer will work closely with application engineers to operationalize models, ensuring they meet performance tracking standards and can be retrained as necessary.

6 years of relevant experience in modeling and data science, with 2 years as a tech lead
Responsibilities
- • Apply statistical and machine learning methods to build customer-facing models
- • Work closely with application engineers to operationalize models and ensure performance tracking
- • Innovate on current models and apply new methodologies
- • Provide thought leadership around data governance and standardization
- • Document data pipelines and produce visibility into them
- • Analyze data sets to inform product roadmaps
- • Devise optimization models to improve fraud and compliance workflows
- • Conduct bespoke analyses for new customer use cases
