BizOps Engineer II

Job Overview

Mastercard is seeking a BizOps Engineer II to join the Shared Component Security Services BizOps team. This role focuses on solving problems, building CI/CD pipelines, and leading automation efforts within the DevOps framework. The ideal candidate will have a strong appetite for change and a passion for achieving operational excellence through automation and collaboration across development, operations, and product teams.

Technical Requirements

Responsibilities

• • Responsible for the operations support, maintenance or monitoring of IT security policies, standards, and best practices
• • Implements BizOps guild principles and standards, performs support activities to keep supported program systems running properly
• • First responder to system events triggered by detection tools
• • Participate in the operational deployment and subsequent support of new services or improvements
• • Develops program standards and procedures as guided by BizOps principles
• • Analyze ITSM activities of the platform and provide feedback to development teams on operational gaps
• • Support services before they go live through system design consulting and capacity planning
• • Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability and system health
• • Support the application CI/CD pipeline for promoting software into higher environments
