Egnyte is seeking a Junior QA Automation Engineer to join their Desktop Applications team in Poznań, Poland. Technical Requirements
Required Skills
- • Knowledge of Python for test automation and scripting
- • Ability to create effective test cases and execute them
- • Knowledge about how to apply testing methodologies to real-life scenarios
Preferred Skills
- • Knowledge of networking protocols
- • Experience with tools like Postman, Wireshark, Kibana, BigQuery
Experience Level
At least 2 years of commercial experience in testing with elements of automation, preferably on desktop platforms (MacOS, Windows).
Responsibilities
- • Develop, maintain and manage the test automation framework in Python
- • Develop test plans and perform manual tests for desktop applications on macOS and Windows
- • Collaborate with QA engineers, developers, UX specialists, and product owners to provide feedback on potential risks
- • Voice ideas and contribute to the decision-making process in project development
