Egnyte is seeking a motivated individual to join their Cloud Security team as an Intern Cloud Security Engineer. This role offers the opportunity to learn and grow alongside experienced colleagues while contributing to the security posture of Egnyte's cloud services. The internship is designed for those interested in the technical aspects of Security Engineering and aims to foster a secure cloud environment through proactive threat detection and vulnerability management.
Technical Requirements
Required Skills
- • Basic scripting in Python
- • Familiarity with application security frameworks
Preferred Skills
- • Knowledge of Operating Systems
- • Understanding of Networking
Experience Level
Active University student status preferred
Responsibilities
- • Learn by immersion alongside experienced Team Members
- • Identify and remediate security risks to improve Egnyte’s Cloud Security Posture
- • Utilize state-of-the-art cloud security tools to understand cloud security principles
- • Contribute to Infrastructure, Configuration, and Policy as a Code codebase
- • Work closely with DevOps Teams to implement and maintain security checks throughout the SDLC
