Job Overview
Egnyte is seeking a Principal Technical Consultant to join its Professional Services team. This remote position requires a strong technical background to facilitate the migration of unstructured data to the Egnyte Cloud File System, ensuring proper access and permissions. The successful candidate will act as an expert in the Egnyte Platform and will engage with customers to troubleshoot issues while managing multiple complex projects.
Technical Requirements
Required Skills
- • Software Installation and troubleshooting
- • Data and Permission migration tools
- • Virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V)
- • Windows/Linux Server operating systems
- • Script execution and monitoring (Python, SQL, PowerShell)
- • Microsoft Active Directory, Azure AD, SSO
- • Customer-facing implementation experience
- • Strong communication skills
Preferred Skills
- • Experience in Enterprise software support
- • Public Cloud experience
- • Mentoring experience
Experience Level
12+ years of relevant technical function experience
Responsibilities
- • Execute complex, multi-phase, data migration projects
- • Operate as an Egnyte Platform expert
- • Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams for monitoring and troubleshooting
- • Provide status updates and escalate issues as necessary
- • Manage multiple projects with strict deadlines
- • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
